Zusammenfassung

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) seeks a consultant to advance gender-responsive penal and prison reform. You will provide strategic advice, develop guidance, and deliver technical assistance to Member States, aligning with UN standards and norms.

The role focuses on reducing prison populations, improving prison management and offender reintegration, and contributing to SDGs while protecting human rights. Fluent English required; another UN language is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in criminology, law, social sciences, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in criminal justice, prison management or offender treatment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.

• Provide strategic advice and input for mechanisms promoting international standards for prisoner treatment.
