Organizational context: The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), through its Corruption and Financial Crime Branch (CFB) and Regional Hub for Latin America and the Caribbean, focuses on preventing corruption by fostering integrity and ethical values from an early age. This role supports UNODC's Global Resource for Anti-Corruption Education and Youth Empowerment (GRACE) initiative, contributing to educational approaches that prevent corruption.

Job purpose: This consultancy aims to develop and implement a context-specific Training-of-Trainers (ToT) methodology and educational tools for primary and secondary school teachers in Guatemala. The purpose is to enhance teachers' capacity to promote integrity education, ethical decision-making, and corruption prevention awareness among students. The role will contribute to sustainable educational approaches by equipping teachers with practical methodologies and resources tailored to the Guatemalan educational context, fostering a culture of integrity and responsible citizenship from a young age. The consultancy includes adapting existing GRACE materials and delivering a ToT workshop.

Responsibilities: The consultant will adapt the GRACE Training-of-Trainers methodology on integrity education, ethical values, and corruption prevention for primary and secondary school teachers in Guatemala. This includes contextualizing and tailoring training materials, pedagogical resources, practical classroom tools, and supporting documents for effective delivery and replication. The consultant will also organize and deliver a Training-of-Trainers workshop for selected teachers, presenting and facilitating the application of the adapted methodology and tools. Proactive communication with the project team for guidance and interim clearance is expected throughout the assignment.

Education: An advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in education, pedagogy, or a related field is required. A first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted. Experience in education, teacher training, curriculum design, or capacity-building initiatives is necessary.

Work experience: A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in education, teacher training, pedagogical methodology development, or curriculum design is required. Proven experience in designing and delivering Training-of-Trainers programs, developing age-appropriate educational materials, and working in areas of ethics or integrity education is essential. Experience in Guatemala is also required.
