ANDRITZ in Vienna, AUT, is seeking an Insurance Specialist to join our global team on a full-time basis. You will negotiate and manage international insurance programs, while aligning with local standards and ANDRITZ global requirements across the region.

You will coordinate with the global broker, handle large losses, train local teams, and review insurance clauses in contracts. The role requires English and German proficiency and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in the insurance industry.
• Basic knowledge of insurance law.
• Expertise with international commercial lines in manufacturing, project work, construction or related industries.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong communication skills, both English and German.
• Independent and precise working style with problem-solving skills.
• Team spirit, communication skills and commitment.
• Global focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding to negotiate and facilitate global insurance programs, ensuring alignment with local standards and ANDRITZ- specific global requirements.
• Management of the local insurance representative and collaboration with business and finance teams across the region.
• Coordinate with the global insurance broker and address regional insurance requests, including developing insurance solutions for new projects which cannot be insured under global programs.
• Handling of large losses and claims under our global lines of insurance.
• Provide training to local colleagues, management and teams while maintaining cultural sensitivity and effective communication.
• Review and negotiate insurance clauses in sales contracts.
