VAT Group is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead global procurement for electronics direct materials. You will partner with business units, engineering, and operations to implement sourcing strategies, optimize supplier performance, and expand the supply base across multiple regions.

The role requires 3-4 years of strategic sourcing experience, knowledge of global category management, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifikationen

• 3-4 years of strategic and operational sourcing experience with knowledge of global category management.
• Experience with category-specific production techniques and processes.
• Knowledge of category sourcing markets.
• Experience sourcing in Eastern Europe and Asia, including Best Cost Country sourcing.
• Experience in a global and complex organization.
• Experience in machine building, vacuum technology, and semiconductors.
• Experience in cross-functional and category team leadership.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for assigned direct materials categories (electronics).
• Partner with Business Units, Engineering, and Operations to align sourcing efforts.
• Sustain the Global Strategic Sourcing operating model and ensure capable, cost-efficient supply.
• Apply sustainable supplier assessments and development approaches for a compliant footprint.
• Improve supplier performance in Quality, Delivery, and Cost (QCD).
• Grow a best-cost-country supply base aligned with company objectives.
