Job summary

AT&S Leoben in Austria seeks a Customer Quality Engineer to act as the key liaison between customers and the plant for quality topics. You drive structured complaint handling, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure transparent communication to achieve high customer satisfaction and continuous quality improvement.

Join our Quality Team to support global sites, perform root-cause analyses, and guide internal teams on quality standards. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education with proven experience in quality engineering.
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing, quality management and statistics.
• Experience in customer complaint management and 8D problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate 8D processes for customer complaints and corrective actions.
• Single point of contact for customers on quality topics and inquiries.
• Conduct root cause analyses and rapid on-site support within 48 hours if needed.
• Maintain communication with customers or AQM for complaints and deviations.
• Support global AT&S sites in complaint handling and align with local requirements.
• Train internal teams on customer-specific quality standards.
• Represent the company during customer visits, audits and quality discussions.
• Monitor and ensure completion of quality actions and documentation (EN10204).
