AT&S Leoben in Austria seeks a Customer Quality Engineer to serve as the key link between customers and the plant for quality topics, driving 8D processes and corrective actions.

You will coordinate with global sites, perform root-cause analyses, train teams on standards, and represent the company during visits and audits, with up to 20% travel.

Fluency in English and German, SAP and MS Office competence, and a technical quality background are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education with proven experience in quality engineering or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing, quality management, and statistical methods.
• Proven experience in customer complaint management and structured problem-solving (e.g. 8D).
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and German (written and spoken).

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate 8D processes for customer complaints, ensuring timely submission and effective corrective actions.
• Act as the single point of contact for customers regarding quality-related topics and inquiries.
• Conduct root cause analyses and provide rapid on-site support (within 48 hours when required).
• Maintain continuous communication with customers or AQM for complaints, deviations, and general requests.
• Support global AT&S sites in complaint handling and align with local customer requirements.
• Train and guide internal teams on customer-specific quality standards and reject analysis.
• Represent the company during customer visits, audits, and quality discussions.
• Monitor, report, and ensure completion of quality actions, including documentation and certification (e.g. EN10204).
