Job summary

Medison seeks a BD Manager to expand the Business Development team in EPM, evaluating opportunities and supporting partners from first contact to deal closure. The role focuses on BD opportunities in Poland, Romania, and Czechia, and requires strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.

The successful candidate will conduct market research, engage clinicians and stakeholders, and collaborate with internal experts across regions.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in life sciences, medicine, pharma or similar scientific field.
• Post-graduate degree in scientific/health economics/business fields preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in Pharmaceuticals/Biotech – Commercial, Medical or Market Access or related.
• Experience engaging healthcare professionals and hospitals.
• Experience assessing novel treatments in Poland/Romania/Czechia.
• Fluent English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support BD journey from first contact to deal closure with partners.
• Lead evaluation of BD opportunities in EPM markets (Poland, Romania, Czechia).
• Develop and present the overall BD business case to partners.
• Conduct market research related to BD projects in EPM.
• Collaborate with regional experts to validate market pathways and unmet needs.
• Engage in primary market research via stakeholder interviews.
• Travel internationally several times per year for meetings and initiatives.
• Comply with Medison SOPs, policies and guidelines.
