Job summary

GE HealthCare Austria GmbH & Co OG is seeking an AI Data Architect (f/m/d) to shape the global data architecture for AI development across ultrasound teams. You will align distributed teams on shared platform priorities, enabling secure, scalable data foundations for AI-enabled ultrasound solutions in healthcare worldwide.

The role covers architecture strategy, platform standardization, and governance with a focus on privacy, security, and interoperability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, data engineering, AI, or related field.
• Progressive experience in data architecture, enterprise architecture, AI platforms, or data engineering.
• Knowledge of privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory expectations for healthcare data.

Responsibilities

• Align global ultrasound teams on AI data needs, use cases and priorities.
• Evaluate third-party platforms and lead build-versus-buy decisions and vendor assessments.
• Define reference architectures and standards for scalable, secure data platforms.
• Own the global AI data architecture roadmap including priorities and capacity plans.
• Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to standardize platforms, pipelines, and governance.
• Enable compliant healthcare-data access, de-identification, retention, sharing and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate platform onboarding, integration, migration and retirement while promoting reference patterns.
• Lead architecture and incident reviews and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders.
