MedUni Vienna is seeking a Technical Assistant (m/f/x) at Max Perutz Labs in Vienna for a part-time, fixed-term role starting December 1, 2026 through November 30, 2027, with potential extension. You will operate flow cytometry equipment, train students and post-docs, maintain FACS instruments, document procedures, and help ensure smooth lab workflows.

• Relevant diploma or degree with significant laboratory experience.
• Experience in flow cytometry.
• Knowledge of acquisition and data analysis software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of basic biology and technical interest in instrumentation.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor the sorters and analytical machines.
• Provide guidance to students and post-docs on flow cytometers.
• Implement and lead user training sessions.
• Assist in maintaining FACS equipment.
• Document procedures and communicate results to users.
• Contribute to laboratory organization and workflow management.
