Job summary

IMBA Institute of Molecular Biotechnology at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna seeks a student worker to support its laboratory administration. The role covers inventory management, routine handling, and documentation, based on a 10-hour weekly commitment starting February 1, 2027.

You will help log delivered items, label and store supplies, and prepare aliquots for tissue culture as needed, while observing safety and good laboratory practices.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with a structured, independent working style.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety and sterile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Update laboratory inventory and log orders in the database.
