Your Tasks:
- Provide leadership, direction and management to the Finance Division, including the departments Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Tax & Cost Control and Management Reporting & Budget Planning.
- Plan, manage and oversee all Finance activities, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and the preparation of financial information.
- Develop, plan and implement Finance-related goals and initiatives while defining and implementing measures to achieve the Bank's corporate goals and strategy.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of all subordinate Finance departments, ensuring effective task distribution, the continuous development of the department organization and the optimization of Finance processes and systems.
- Provide financial information and analyses to support the Management Board in strategic decision-making, act as the main contact person for Finance-related matters and continuously monitor and improve internal Finance processes.
- Coordinate and ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with UGB and IFRS, while ensuring the timely submission of reports to the OeNB.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of all tax returns, including advance VAT returns, KESt, KöSt and other statutory tax obligations.
- Act as the primary contact for internal auditors, external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring effective cooperation with all relevant stakeholders.
- Represent the Finance Division as a member of the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO), New Product Committee and Risk Committee.
What You Bring to the Table:
- University degree with a focus on Finance or similar studies.
- Several years of professional experience in the financial sector in a senior management position.
- Profound knowledge of UGB, IFRS and tax topics.
- Extensive knowledge of bank-specific requirements.
- Expert user knowledge of all MS Office tools as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Affinity for numbers and confident handling of data.
- Strong analytical, organizational and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Excellent communication skills and a structured, solution-oriented working style.
- Fluent English; German is considered an advantage.

Minimum gross wage in accordance with the collective agreement if the minimum requirements are met: EUR 5.338,38/month with willingness to overpay depending on professional experience and training.
