Zusammenfassung

Voith Hydro is seeking a Sourcing Manager (m|f|d) Field Service in Europe. Based in Austria, the role focuses on leading supplier selection, price and contract negotiations, and performance management for field service assembly services across EMEA.

You will develop procurement strategies for large-scale projects, manage supplier relationships, ensure HSE and quality requirements, and travel internationally up to ~10%. Fluent German and English are required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in a technical or commercial field or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in plant engineering/large-scale projects, especially in purchasing assembly services/field service.
• Strong strategic management of assembly service providers.
• Technical understanding of complex assembly processes and plant construction.
• Experience in project and supplier management, field service and claim management.
• Proficient with MS Office and SAP, plus other purchasing tools.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, negotiation skills and initiative.
• Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 10%.

Aufgaben

• Lead selection and negotiations with assembly service providers and manage contracts.
• Oversee price negotiations, claims, and performance tracking.
• Control order processing, changes, and deadlines.
• Develop and expand the Field Service product group with suppliers in EMEA.
• Ensure tax compliance (CIS, WHT, RCT, reverse charge) with the tax department.
• Review invoices as part of contract management.
• Identify savings and optimize procurement processes.
• Develop purchasing strategies for large international projects.
• Engage suppliers for capacity control and supplier development.
• Ensure HSE and quality requirements are met by suppliers.
