Job summary

Bybit is a leading cryptocurrency exchange and digital financial platform. The role focuses on shaping and running the compliance function for our licensed EMI, turning regulatory requirements into practical, day-to-day controls and advising management and business teams.

You will work across Risk, Legal, Information Security and AML, helping ensure strong governance while supporting ongoing product and process innovation in a fast-moving global environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of compliance experience at EMI, payment institution, fintech or similar regulated business.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to translate them into workable controls.
• Experience with regulatory examinations and cross-functional reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop the EMI's compliance framework, including policies, advisory processes, controls, monitoring and reporting.
• Assess regulatory changes affecting e-money and payment services and implement them with relevant teams.
• Set a risk-based monitoring plan, evaluate controls and track findings to resolution.
• Advise Product, Operations and management on new offerings, processes and outsourcing arrangements.
• Prepare compliance reporting for management and regulator engagements; work with Risk, Legal, Info Security and AML.

About

the role:

Help shape the compliance function of our licensed electronic money institution. You will make regulatory requirements work in day-to-day operations and provide independent, practical advice to management and business teams.

What you’ll do

• Develop the EMI’s compliance framework, including policies, advisory processes, controls, monitoring and reporting.
• Assess regulatory changes affecting e-money and payment services, and work with the relevant teams to implement them.
• Set a risk-based compliance monitoring plan, evaluate the effectiveness of controls and track findings through to resolution.
• Advise Product, Operations and management on new offerings, processes and outsourcing arrangements.
• Prepare compliance reporting for management and, where the role requires it, support engagement with the regulator. Work closely with Risk, Legal, Information Security and the AML function.
