Zusammenfassung

Adcubum AG seeks an experienced leader to run its Internal IT domain across Switzerland and Croatia. You will oversee two teams—Workplace & Corporate and Platform & Infrastructure—driving cloud migrations, defining strategy, and governing service levels.

Fluency in English is required; German is a plus. This role offers a hybrid model with remote work from Croatia and occasional travel. You will manage budgets, vendor relations, and deliver measurable efficiency gains for the organization.

Qualifikationen

• Several years leading IT operations or an internal IT organisation with disciplinary leadership of teams

Aufgaben

• Lead the Internal IT domain: two teams (Workplace & Corporate; Platform & Infrastructure) across Switzerland and Croatia
• Drive the migration of server infrastructure to cloud with a cloud-first approach
• Define IT strategy, service catalogues and governance; implement clear processes
• Establish a single service catalogue with SLAs and incidents, changes and problem management
• Steer sourcing strategy and manage vendor relationships, external partners and managed services
• Own the domain budget (OPEX and CAPEX) including cloud spend and drive efficiency gains
• Report to Executive Management, ensure security, compliance and alignment with company strategy
• Collaborate with global teams; enable hybrid work, flexible models and apprenticeship training

Then this is your role. You lead our Internal IT domain: two teams, twelve people in Switzerland and Croatia, and everything from the workplace and the office network to the datacenter, the database platforms and the cloud.

Lead the domain's two teams, Workplace & Corporate and Platform & Infrastructure, with disciplinary responsibility for everyone in them, apprentices included

Drive the migration of our server infrastructure from bare metal to the cloud: cloud-first for new demand, PaaS before IaaS, and a hybrid model for the years in between

Define the internal IT strategy and drive its implementation in step with the company strategy, including service orientation and clear governance

Establish one service catalogue with transparent service levels and incident, change and problem processes that hold up

Answer for internal IT towards Executive Management, auditors and Security, and hold standards, security practices and compliance consistent across the domain

Steer the sourcing strategy: make-or-buy decisions, external partners and managed services, vendor management

Own the domain budget, OPEX and CAPEX including cloud spend, and deliver measurable efficiency gains

Our requirements

Several years leading IT operations or an internal IT organisation, including disciplinary leadership of interdisciplinary teams

Depth in platform infrastructure (datacenter, virtualisation, container platforms, databases) and enough breadth in end-user IT to steer endpoint management, M365 and ITSM

A cloud migration you have run rather than only planned, including hybrid operations and cloud cost governance

Experience defining IT strategy, service catalogues and governance, and steering managed-service providers on SLAs and contracts

Fluent English is mandatory, fluent German is an advantage

Advantageous

Experience with audit and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001

Practical familiarity with our stack: RHEL/Linux, CloudStack, OpenShift, Ceph, Oracle and PostgreSQL, endpoint management and M365

Experience leading teams split across countries, ideally between Switzerland and Croatia

Familiarity with the Swiss apprenticeship system, as the Workplace & Corporate team trains apprentices

Experience introducing AI-supported self-service and support automation
