Adcubum AG, the market leader in health and accident insurance software, is modernising Syrius and needs a Data & AI Architect to structure data for advanced analytics and AI across the platform.

You will own the data architecture, define modelling strategies, governance and quality, and shape data behind APIs, while collaborating with management, developers and customers in a multinational setup.

Qualifikationen

• At least five years in architecture, with three years in data architecture.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Deep understanding of data modelling and relational/document databases.
• Experience integrating AI solutions into existing applications.
• Business-fluent German and English are required.

Aufgaben

• Own the data architecture of the Syrius Suite through the modernisation.
• Set the strategy for how data is modelled, processed and stored, for relational and document-based persistence alike.
• Shape the business data modelling for insurance and finance, drawing on standard data models where they fit.
• Own the data model behind our APIs and interfaces.
• Define data governance and write the design and modelling guidelines that teams have to follow.
• Determine how data quality gets managed and sustained.
• Shape our data so that AI/ML models can be trained and run efficiently.
• Carry the architecture vision at every level: the C-level, the development teams and our customers.

Syrius is being modernised, and data sits underneath all of it: our own software, and the business processes our customers run on it.

We want that data ready for advanced analytics and AI rather than retrofitted for them later. So we are looking for a Data & AI Architect who structures data and explains it: to management, developers and customers.

• You own the data architecture of the Syrius Suite through the modernisation

• You shape our data so that AI and machine-learning models can be trained and run efficiently, informed by how AI is used in insurance
• You carry the architecture vision at every level: the C-level, the development teams and our customers

Our requirements

• At least five years in architecture, three of them focused on data architecture
• You communicate at every level of the hierarchy and keep stakeholders informed
• A deep understanding of data modelling, and of relational and document-based databases
• You have integrated AI solutions into existing applications
• Business-fluent German and English are required

Advantageous

• Experience in Swiss health and accident insurance
• Experience enforcing Swiss data protection and compliance requirements, revDSG and the FINMA circulars, including cloud architectures that have to satisfy them
• Experience preparing product data for customer analytics, and the judgement to see when it could be sold in its own right, such as a standard analysis package
• Certificates in architecture, data or cloud
