Zusammenfassung

BRP-Rotax is seeking a technical expert to contribute to the structural design and durability assessment of modern engine components. You will combine finite element simulations with advanced dynamics and multibody methods, building expertise in powertrain development.

Responsibilities include running FEA, supporting engine test benches, documenting results, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners. English and German skills are required; a technical degree is essential.

Your new adventure

In this position, you will actively contribute to the structural design and durability assessment of modern engine components. You will combine finite element simulations with advanced dynamics and multibody simulation methods, gradually building expert knowledge in the field of powertrain development.

• Perform finite element simulations for the structural, strength, and durability assessment of engine and drivetrain components.
• Define and support testing activities on components and engine test benches.
• Independently create, interpret, and document simulation results and derive technical recommendations.
• Work closely with internal development departments and external partners.

Your Skills And Experiences

• Completed technical degree (University of Applied Sciences or University) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Technical Mathematics/Physics, or a comparable qualification.
• Knowledge of materials science, particularly steel and aluminum, as well as the impact of manufacturing processes on material properties.
• Interest in simulation, internal combustion engines, and electric powertrains.
• Very good English skills and good German language skills are required.
• Enthusiasm for continuously expanding your technical expertise and applying it productively in development projects.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 53,240.98 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry.
