Flex is seeking a Materials Manager to lead material planning, inventory control, and supply chain coordination across an EMEA site. Reporting to the Senior Director Materials, the role directs teams and drives processes to optimize flow and on-time delivery.

Typical day includes deploying material control policies, coordinating with project and operations managers, minimizing excess inventory, and ensuring customer expectations are met.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of material and manufacturing experience, including supervision.
• Negotiations and facilitator skills.
• Problem solving approach.
• Deep knowledge in demand process in Baan and Kinaxis.

Aufgaben

• Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems.
• Coordinates with site, customers, project managers, operations managers and materials managers.
• Manages, controls, and directs the activities and staff involved in the distribution of inventory to the production line.
• Manages, controls, and directs staff to achieve Materials profit and loss goals including minimization of excess and obsolete inventory.
• Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction through negotiations of customer expectations and managing staff activities.
• Travel as required.
