Humanis AG in Zürich is seeking an Embedded Software Developer to contribute C++ expertise to embedded and desktop applications. You will work closely with electronics to integrate software and hardware and drive the full software lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have several years of C++ experience (modern C++17 or newer) and strong embedded knowledge, including ARM Cortex-M. Excellent English is required; German & French are a plus.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in C++ software development (modern C++17 or newer) using Qt Framework.
• Strong knowledge in embedded programming and low-level development (register access, interrupts, peripheral control).
• Familiarity with embedded toolchains, debuggers, version control (Git), and build systems.
• Analytical and structured mindset, ownership, and team-oriented working style.
• Excellent English skills (spoken and written); German & French is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Develop software in C++ for embedded and desktop applications.
• Collaborate with electronics team to integrate software and hardware.
• Own the software development lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality through automated testing.

Your tasks

• Developing software solutions in C++ for embedded and desktop applications
• Strong experience in developing software solutions for embedded and desktop applications
• Programming low?level software for microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex?M, STM32)
• Close collaboration with the electronics team to integrate software and hardware
• Taking responsibility for the entire software development lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring software quality through automated testing
• Supporting commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of prototypes and series products
• Contributing to international development projects across different time zones and teams

Your profile
