OMICRON electronics GmbH in Austria is seeking a software engineer to join our in-house Linux distribution team. You will design, implement, test and maintain Linux-based software for our test and measurement products, with a focus on C/C++ components and embedded systems.

Collaborating across international teams, you will optimize build and deployment processes, contribute to kernel/driver work, and keep systems up to date with robust tooling and documentation.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional experience developing software components or systems in C/C++ on Linux.
• Embedded systems development, including Linux kernel and/or driver development.
• Networking, real-time Linux, embedded hardware, cross-compilation and toolchains.
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to software development.
• Teamwork with a sense of personal responsibility.
