Hexagon Innovation Hub GmbH in Heerbrugg is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for Embedded Devices to lead end-to-end ML development for on-device products. You will design, train, and deploy models tailored to our hardware, optimizing inference for low-power accelerators.

Join an agile, global team and translate customer requirements into robust ML solutions, collaborating with product teams and ML professionals worldwide. A strong background in embedded software and ML is required.

Qualifikationen

• A university degree in computer science or artificial intelligence or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with machine and deep learning techniques.
• Experience developing software for embedded devices is highly preferred.
• Proven experience training, evaluating, and deploying neural networks for on-device use.

Select and benchmark suitable architectures and suitable runtimes, train, downsize and adapt models for resource-constrained devices and support the deployment into our hardware products.

• Take responsibility for feature development projects end-to-end from inception to ML development to deployment and integration into products
• Design, develop and train machine learning models tailored to our hardware using state-of-the-art techniques
• Implement advanced low-level model inference optimizations to fully leverage on-device accelerators
• Work in an agile environment, collaborating with product teams and machine learning professionals all over the world

This is you

• A university degree (M.Sc. or D.) in computer science or artificial intelligence or a similar field
• At least 5 years of experience with machine and deep learning techniques and preferably 5+ years of experience developing software for embedded devices
• Provenexperience in training, evaluation, and deployment of neural networks, covering all stages from data ingestion to model deployment
• Good knowledge of ML exchange formats, runtimes, compilers and knowledge of adapting models for and deploying to embedded platforms
• Solid background in developing with C-based languages and Python
• Experience in obtaining and formalizing customer requirements and defining use cases
