Job summary

Starlinger & Co in Austria is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer (m/f/d) to develop electrical equipment from concept to a fully functional machine in a global team. You will create circuit diagrams, collaborate with mechanical designers for component selection, and drive both new designs and improvements while validating through testing.

Ideal candidates hold HTL/FH in electrical engineering, have strong E-Plan knowledge, and are fluent in German and English.

Qualifications

• Completed technical training in electrical engineering (HTL or FH).
• Good knowledge of E-Plan or similar software.
• Knowledge of drive technology and safety standards.
• Proficient in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Draw circuit diagrams using E-Plan and ensure accuracy of BOMs.
• Select and size components in coordination with mechanical designers.
• Work on both new designs and improvements for existing machines.
• Validate designs via test setups and prototypes on the machine.
• Document steps to enable knowledge transfer and team growth.
• Ensure compliance with EU and national standards in mechanical engineering.

Electrical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

That´s What Your Role Is All About

• You will use E-Plan to draw up all the circuit diagrams for our machines and will be responsible for the accuracy of the resulting bills of material.
• In consultation with our mechnical designers, you will be responsible for the correct selection and dimensioning of components.
• Both new design work and improvements to series support call upon your expertise on a daily basis.
• Through test set-ups and prototypes, you can see your designs in action on the machine itself and thus refine them further.
• You place great importance on documenting each step so that you can pass on your expertise to others and thus continue to grow as a team.
• Compliance with EU and country specific standards and guidelines in mechanical engineering is a key priority for you in creating high-quality products.

The role comes with an minimum salary under the collective agreement fo approx. 3.400,-- gross per month. We are, of course, prepared to offer a competitive an attractive salary in line with the market rate for candidates with the relevant experience and qualifications.
