RECOM Power GmbH is seeking both Junior and Senior Electrical Engineers in Vienna to design innovative power supply circuits and manage projects. The role includes responsibilities for PCB layouts and quality assurance across various projects.

Ideal candidates will possess a technical background in electrical engineering, strong simulation and PCB design skills, and proficiency in German and English. We develop innovative power supplies and power electronics for industrial customers – from the initial idea to series production. We are looking for both Junior and Senior Electrical Engineers (m/w/d)!

TASKS:

• Design and development of innovative circuits for AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, including simulation, dimensioning and verification
• Independent creation of PCB layouts, taking into account applicable standards, manufacturability, costs, and other technical and economic requirements
• Independent testing in the laboratory to validate and optimize prototypes
• Responsibility for the technical part of the project (in particular quality assurance, scheduling, and cost planning for electrical engineering):
  • Junior Electrical Engineer: management of smaller development projects
  • Senior Electrical Engineer: management of larger/novel development projects
• Maintaining contact with customers and subcontractors, providing dedicated support to our working students, close cooperation within the team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, Technical University) in electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar
• Solid professional experience in electrical engineering/mechatronics, ideally with practical experience in hardware development:
  • Junior Electrical Engineer: at least 1-2 years of professional experience
  • Senior Electrical Engineer: at least 4-5 years of professional experience
• In-depth knowledge of simulation and PCB design tools (e.g., KiCad, Eagle, MATLAB, Spice, etc.)
• Expertise in electronic circuit development, EMC-compliant design, and electromechanical systems
• Hands-on mentality with workshop/laboratory experience and confident use of laboratory equipment
• Very good German (level C1) and English (level B2), both written and spoken
• Initiative, willingness to take responsibility, commitment and strong team spirit

Employment information

We offer an attractive gross monthly salary on a full-time basis (i.e. 40 hours per week) starting at €3,500.00 (Junior) or €4,900.00 (Senior).
