DevOps Specialist / Data Engineer (all genders) - Data & Analytics
Location: Vienna
Your Tasks
- Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and product owners to build group-wide data, ML, GenAI, and BI solutions
- Design, build, and operate data pipelines on Databricks using Python and Lakeflow (Pipelines, Jobs/Workflows)
- Use Azure Data Factory and Azure services for data ingestion, orchestration, and backend integration
- Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and environment management
- Standardize and improve release, deployment, and operations across DataOps, MLOps, LLMOps, and DevOps
- Ensure monitoring, logging, security, access control, and cost/performance optimization in production

Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Data/Cloud Engineering, or comparable practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud, platform, or data engineering with a focus on production‑grade data solutions
- Strong expertise in Databricks (Python, Spark, Lakehouse) and building and operating data pipelines
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, as well as Azure services including Data Factory and BI tools (Power BI, Fabric)
- DataOps mindset with focus on testing, versioning, observability, and reliable operations
- Excellent communication & teamwork, independent and solution‑oriented working style, very good English; German is a plus
Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR3,668.49 gross on the basis of full‑time employment (37,5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market‑compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
