Job summary

TGW Logistics in Wels (Austria) is seeking to strengthen its product development team. You will develop mechatronic storage products, accompany developments from idea to series production, and collaborate with management, purchasing, production, assembly and service teams.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in development and design projects.
• Strong CAD experience and ability to work on complex mechatronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Continuously develop our mechatronic storage products and analyze improvements in quality, manufacturability, costs and performance.
• Accompany technical developments from initial idea to design and series production.
• Collaborate with product management, purchasing, production, assembly, service and other departments.
• Evaluate technical concepts and variants for functionality, risk and cost-effectiveness.
• Document technical solutions and maintain a knowledge base within product development.
• Coordinate topics across departments and support development projects with your know-how.

What you'll be handling:

• You will continuously develop our mechatronic storage products and analyze and successfully implement potential improvements in terms of quality, manufacturability, costs and performance
• You will accompany technical developments from the initial idea to design and series production
• You will work closely with product management, purchasing, production, assembly, service and other departments
• You will evaluate technical concepts and variants in terms of functionality, risk and cost-effectiveness
• You document technical solutions and ensure a sustainable knowledge base within product development
• You will support development projects with your technical know-how and coordinate technical topics across departmental boundaries

What you'll need:

• Technical education with Matura (HTL) or studies in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, automation technology or electrical engineering
• Several years of professional experience in development, design with lateral guidance
• Experience in engineering or in the industrial environment
• Very good understanding of mechatronic systems and complex technical relationships
• Experience with CAD systems and structured work in development projects
• Communicative personality with a high level of personal responsibility and very good knowledge of German or English

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 54.507 Euro.
