Job summary

TGW Logistics in Upper Austria is seeking a software engineer to join a team that develops highly automated intralogistics solutions for leading companies worldwide. You will analyze requirements with subject matter experts and design modern .NET applications focused on performance and scalability.

You’ll test thoroughly (unit, integration, system), maintain existing components, and contribute ideas in an agile Scrum/Kanban environment.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or comparable software engineering experience.
• Several years of software development experience (ideally in logistics).
• Proficient in .NET / C# with Oracle familiarity.
• Aware of Agile methods like Scrum or Kanban and apply them daily.
• Conceptual thinker who contributes ideas and communicates clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements with subject matter experts and develop concepts.
• Design and develop modern .NET applications with focus on performance and scalability.
• Test solutions thoroughly (unit, integration, system) and document them clearly.
• Maintain and enhance existing components, improving performance.
• Support system commissions and project rollouts—closely with product and customer.

What you'll be handling:

• Together with subject matter experts, you’ll analyze requirements and develop well-thought-out concepts.

What you'll need:

• You have a technical degree (HTL, FH, university) with a focus on software engineering or comparable experience.
• You have several years of experience in software development - ideally, but not necessarily, in the logistics sector.
• You are proficient in .NET / C# and are also familiar with Oracle.
• You understand agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and apply them in your daily work.
• You think conceptually, take a solution-oriented approach, and actively contribute your ideas.
• You enjoy working in a team, take on responsibility, and communicate clearly—including in English.

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience.
