Job summary

TGW Logistics seeks a software engineer to design and develop modern .NET applications for a global intralogistics environment. You will analyze requirements with SMEs and craft scalable solutions.

You will work with Oracle, apply Scrum/Kanban, and ensure high-quality tests and documentation while mentoring others. The role includes a flexible home-office model and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• You have a technical degree (HTL, FH or university) in software engineering or comparable experience.
• You have several years of software development experience, ideally in logistics.
• You are proficient in .NET / C# and familiar with Oracle.
• You apply agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements with subject matter experts and develop concepts.
• Design and develop modern .NET applications with a focus on performance.
• Test solutions (unit/integration/system) and document clearly.
• Maintain and enhance existing components for performance.
• Support system rollouts and collaborate with product and customers.

What you'll be handling:

• Together with subject matter experts, you’ll analyze requirements and develop well-thought-out concepts.
• You’ll design and develop modern applications in the .NET environment—with a focus on performance and scalability.
• You will thoroughly test your solutions (unit, integration, system) and document them clearly.
• You will take existing components to the next level through maintenance, further development, and performance tuning.
• You will support system commissions and project rollouts - working closely with the product and the customer.
• You will coach colleagues on complex technical challenges and share your expertise.

What you'll need:

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience.
