Job summary

Kiwa PPI in Linz, Austria, is seeking an experienced Shift Inspector to support a major pipe mill project. The role focuses on quality inspection during day shift, adhering to API 5L, project specs, and internal quality procedures.

The assignment is initially planned for around six months. The successful candidate will inspect Concrete Weight Coating and Anti-Corrosion Coating operations, review results, prepare reports, and communicate findings to the Lead Inspector and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with API 5L (mandatory).
• Experience as QC/Coating/Shift Inspector in pipe mill or related industrial setting.
• Knowledge of coating inspection and QA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality inspection coverage during the assigned day shift.
• Inspect Concrete Weight Coating (CWC) and Anti-Corrosion Coating operations.
• Review inspection results and prepare quality documentation.
• Communicate findings to Lead Inspector and project stakeholders.
• Promote safety and a strong culture of quality.
