Zusammenfassung

ams-OSRAM AG in Austria seeks a data science/AI engineer to develop AI-driven solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. You will analyze new AI use cases with Manufacturing, Engineering and IT, and support PoCs through to productive solutions.

You will integrate AI models and data pipelines into production systems, build data platforms based on event streaming and container technologies, and implement anomaly detection, predictive maintenance and process optimization.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in DS/CS/Physics or comparable
• Experience in Data Science/AI/Data Engineering in industrial environments
• Very good English; German is a plus

Who we are looking for

• University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics or a comparable scientific or technical discipline
• Professional experience in Data Science, AI Engineering, Data Engineering or a related technical field, ideally in an industrial environment
• Analytical thinking combined with an independent, structured and team-oriented working style
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and bring different specialist groups together
• Experience in developing and operating data-driven applications or AI solutions in productive environments
• Experience with event streaming, data pipelines and modern data platforms, such as Apache Kafka
• Experience in developing, deploying and orchestrating containerized applications, such as with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD and the reliable operation of productive AI applications
• Knowledge of AI agents, agent-based workflows and their integration into business and production processes
• Practical experience with relevant Data Science, Machine Learning or AI frameworks and libraries such as Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Very good English skills; german skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel occasionally
