Zusammenfassung

Ams Osram is seeking a qualified AI/Data Science engineer to develop and implement AI-driven and data-driven solutions for semiconductor manufacturing in Austria. You will analyze new AI use cases with Manufacturing, Engineering and IT, and advance proof-of-concepts to productive deployments.

You will integrate AI models and data pipelines into production systems and contribute to modern data platforms using event-streaming and container technologies.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics or a comparable scientific or technical discipline.
• Professional experience in Data Science, AI Engineering, Data Engineering or a related technical field, ideally in an industrial environment.
• Analytical thinking combined with an independent, structured and team-oriented working style.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and bring different specialist groups together.
• Experience in developing and operating data-driven applications or AI solutions in productive environments.
• Experience with event streaming, data pipelines and modern data platforms, such as Apache Kafka.
• Experience in developing, deploying and orchestrating containerized applications, such as with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD and the reliable operation of productive AI applications.
• Knowledge of AI agents, agent-based workflows and their integration into business and production processes.
• Practical experience with relevant Data Science, Machine Learning or AI frameworks and libraries, such as Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Very good English skills; german skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel occasionally

• Developing and implementing AI-driven and data-driven solutions for semiconductor manufacturing

• Building and enhancing modern data and AI platforms based on event-streaming and container technologies
• Implementing solutions for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance and process optimization
• Contributing to the deployment, orchestration, operation and monitoring of productive AI appli
• Exploring new applications for AI agents and agent-based workflows
• Improving data quality, interfaces, documentation and governance together with internal partners
• Training and providing technical guidance to engineers and specialist departments
