LAM RESEARCH Corporation in Austria’s Villach region seeks a Mechanical Engineer to lead development of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems for semiconductor applications. You will perform feasibility studies, guide design from concept to fabrication, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You’ll collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, present analyses, and mentor junior engineers while driving innovative, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in mechanical design or concept engineering.
• Strong analytical and numerical aptitude; ability to evaluate complex technical challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Aufgaben

• Drive mechanical development projects during concept and feasibility phases for future semiconductor applications.
• Develop and evaluate engineering concepts to transform ideas into viable solutions.
• Prepare and present technical reports, analyses, and design reviews to communicate results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
