Job summary

SilverBack is partnering with a leading international construction contractor on a major Data Centre project in Vienna, Austria, and are recruiting a CSA Package Manager (m/w/d). This is a minimum 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

The successful candidate will manage the CSA package from construction through to handover, coordinate site activities, and ensure quality, safety and timely delivery on a high-profile project in Vienna.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years’ experience in CSA construction or package management.
• Strong background in Civil, Structural and Architectural construction.
• Experience managing large-scale construction packages and subcontractors.
• Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or commercial projects desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and EHS requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with international projects is an advantage.

Currently, we are partnering with a leading international construction contractor on a major Data Centre project in Vienna, Austria, and are recruiting a CSA Package Manager (m/w/d).

This is a minimum 12-month contract with the possibility of extension, offering the opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-profile data centre project within an international construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) package from construction through to completion and handover.
• Manage day-to-day CSA site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage CSA subcontractors, site teams and specialist contractors.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme, including short-term look-ahead plans and key package milestones.
• Manage subcontractor performance, manpower levels, productivity and resource requirements.
• Coordinate closely with project management, engineering, QA/QC and EHS teams.
• Manage interfaces between CSA works and other project disciplines, including MEP.
• Review construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation, raising RFIs and resolving technical issues where required.
• Ensure all CSA works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Attend and contribute to site meetings, planning sessions, engineering reviews and coordination meetings.
• Monitor quality standards and manage inspections, snagging, punch lists and package close-out activities.
• Coordinate material deliveries, plant and equipment requirements in line with the project programme.
• Maintain accurate progress reports, package trackers and construction documentation.
• Identify potential delays, risks and constraints and work with the project team to develop and implement solutions.
• Ensure strong communication and coordination between all stakeholders involved in the CSA package.
• Support final handover activities, including QA documentation, as-built information and outstanding works.

Requirements

• Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in CSA construction, package management, site management or a related role.
• Strong background in Civil, Structural and Architectural construction.
• Proven experience managing construction packages and subcontractors on large-scale projects.
• Previous experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial or other complex construction projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, sequencing, coordination and package delivery.
• Good technical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC and EHS requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver against demanding project programmes.
• Relevant construction qualification or professional certification is desirable.
• Previous international construction experience is an advantage.
