Apple Inc. is seeking a Cellular RF Transmitter Systems Engineer to join its RF Transmitter Systems Engineering team in Linz.

You will help deliver differentiating transmitter architectures and solutions for Apple’s wireless products with focus on performance and quality. You will collaborate with architecture, RF design, and SW teams to translate requirements into RF concepts, develop ML-driven RF solutions, and model RF systems with Python/MATLAB.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in RF, including cellular TX architectures or PhD with cellular work.
• Knowledge of cellular standards (GSM, UMTS, LTE, LTE‑A, 5G NR) incl. RF aspects.
• Familiarity with RF systems and transceiver architecture and TX waveform trade‑offs.
• Experience with ML techniques for regression/classification and neural networks.
• Strong analytical skills and collaboration across global teams.
• BSEE or MSEE

Aufgaben

• Translate system requirements into TX lineup requirements and RF algorithm specs.
• Specify RF algorithms and define the RF control infrastructure with timing constraints.
• Research, design, and prototype ML models for RF transmitter applications.
• Develop and maintain Python or MATLAB simulations of RF systems.
• Analyze simulation data to evaluate model performance and improvements.
