Job summary

Apple’s RF Systems Engineering team in Linz seeks a motivated RF engineer to develop and optimize Cellular RF Receiver architectures. You will lead receiver line-up analysis from antenna to digital baseband, collaborating with RF circuit design, platform architecture, and software teams to deliver high-performance wireless solutions for today’s 5G and future 6G technologies.

You will guide a team, influence cross-functional projects, and drive validation objectives for interference suppression

Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience in Radio Receiver design and optimization.
• Ability to influence and drive innovation and execution across an organization.
• System Engineering experience with complex Cellular RF systems and receiver architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect, analyze, and optimize receiver line-ups from antenna to digital baseband.
• Perform detailed RF line-up analysis and develop mitigation techniques for impairments.
• Lead a receiver line-up team and educate junior engineers.
• Define requirements for interference suppression and validate mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive concept-to-product implementation.
