Zusammenfassung

OMICRON electronics GmbH in Austria seeks a hands-on Electrical Engineering professional to maintain and optimize building automation, KNX/EIB and HVAC controls, and to support electrical installations across the site.

You will ensure reliable operation of building infrastructure, manage energy-related systems, coordinate preventive maintenance, and document activities while collaborating with facility teams; German communication required and basic English.

Qualifikationen

• Completed education in Electrical Engineering (apprenticeship or HTL)
• First experience with KNX building automation
• HVAC control systems experience
• Building services engineering and ventilation experience
• Create and implement electrical installations safely
• Proactive, hands-on approach to technical challenges
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues; structured and reliable
• Confident in MS Office; mixture of field work and planning/documentation
• German communication; basic English knowledge

Aufgaben

• Maintain and optimize building automation systems, including KNX/EIB and HVAC controls.
• Perform electrical installations and support building-related projects across the site.
• Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of building infrastructure (lighting, emergency stop, workplace installations).
• Own security building systems (access control, fire alarm, intrusion alarm, conveying systems).
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, oversee external service providers, maintain documentation.
• Manage energy-related building systems (water, heating, cooling, electricity) and support facility management daily operations.
