OMICRON electronics GmbH in Austria seeks a skilled building services technician to maintain and optimize KNX/EIB building automation and HVAC controls, perform electrical installations, and support building projects across the Klaus site.

You will ensure reliable operation of lighting, safety systems, access control, fire and intrusion alarms, and contribute to energy management with the facility management team, combining field work (70%) with planning and documentation (30%).

Qualifikationen

• Completed education in Electrical Engineering (apprenticeship or HTL) and ideally first experience with KNX building automation and HVAC control systems.
• Practical experience with building services engineering and ventilation or air handling.
• Create and implement electrical installations safely and professionally.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and enjoy solving technical challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues while working in a flexible, reliable, and structured manner.
• Use MS Office confidently and balance field work (about 70%) with planning/documentation (about 30%).
• Communicate confidently in German; basic knowledge of English.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and optimize building automation systems, including KNX/EIB and HVAC controls.
• Perform electrical installations and support building-related projects across the site.
• Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of the entire building infrastructure, including lighting, emergency stop systems, and workplace installations.
• Take ownership of security-related building systems such as access control, fire alarm, intrusion alarm, and conveying systems.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities, oversee external service providers, and ensure complete and accurate maintenance documentation.
• Manage energy-related building systems, including water, heating, cooling, and electricity, while supporting the facility management team in daily operations.
