DePuy Synthes is recruiting a BCT Specialist EMEA, based in Vienna, Austria, to enable effective compliance delivery across contracting, payments and transparency reporting.

You will support HCP/HCO payment processes, ensure regulatory reporting accuracy, and work with Finance and Compliance to maintain audit-ready documentation. The role requires strong attention to detail, German and English fluency, and the ability to manage multi-step processes across a diverse team.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

  • Act as the key contact for contracts and payments; maintain auditable records for all process stages.
  • Prepare, draft, review and validate contracts using approved templates, systems and processes.
  • Ensure all transparency reports are completed and submitted in line with local laws, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Manage end-to-end process for PO creation, payment processing, cross charges, and related documentation for HCP/HCO payments.
  • Ensure all payments are completed through the relevant country regulations.
  • Liaise with HCP/GO’s on payment related queries; communicate across a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Build effective working relationships with business stakeholders and provide timely compliance guidance.
  • Support onboarding of new team members; report and escalate issues as appropriate.

Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a BCT Specialist EMEA, located in Vienna, Austria.

This role plays a critical part in enabling the effective delivery of compliance within EMEA, with a primary focus on contracting, payments, transparency reporting and related documentation. As a Business Compliance Specialist, you will support HCP and HCO payment processes, transparency reporting obligations and contract-related activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, audit readiness and alignment with Health Care Compliance (HCC) requirements. Acting as a trusted partner, you will provide practical guidance and timely support to stakeholders across the business, Finance and Compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the key contact for contracts and payments; maintain auditable records for all process stages
  • Prepare, draft, review and validate contracts using approved templates, systems and processes
  • Ensure all transparency reports are completed and submitted in line with local laws, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely delivery
  • Manage the end-to-end process for PO creation, payment processing, cross charges, and related documentation to enable accurate and timely HCP and HCO payments
  • Ensure all payments are completed through the relevant country regulations
  • Liaise confidently and transparently with HCP/GO’s on all payment related queries
  • Communicate clearly across a diverse and geographically distributed stakeholder group
  • Build effective working relationships with business stakeholders and provide timely guidance on compliance processes and requirements.
  • Support onboarding of new team members
  • Report and elevate issues as appropriate, to the Senior Specialist and in line with team governance and escalation pathways
Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (e.g. Business, Life Sciences or related field), or equivalent professional experience
Experience and Skills – Required
  • Experience in payments, transparency reporting, contracting, compliance operations or another regulated business environment
  • Ability to manage end-to-end process steps for PO creation, payment processing, supporting documentation and follow-up activities
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review data, identify gaps and maintain audit-quality records
  • Strong IT, systems and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting and payment deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to respond clearly and professionally to stakeholder queries
  • Able to work independently, escape issues appropriately and apply compliance processes consistently
Experience and Skills – Preferred
  • 2-3 years’ Health Care industry experience, ideally in compliance operations, finance operations, contracting, payments or transparency reporting
  • Experience supporting payment processes, purchase orders, vendor documentation or evidence of service requirements
  • Experience working with transparency reporting requirements, data collection, reconciliation or reporting deadlines
  • Experience in customer service, stakeholder support or a customer-facing role, including administrative skills
  • Educated to Higher Education, or equivalent caliber – desirable

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Additional European languages are an advantage
  • Limited travel within EMEA may be required
  • Compliance or legal certifications are beneficial but not required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€58,400.00 - €93,380.00

Benefits:
  • In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
