Zusammenfassung

OSCE Secretariat in Vienna seeks an Environmental Affairs Adviser on an international secondment to develop and coordinate projects at the Environmental Activities portfolio. You will provide expert guidance on program design, manage partnerships, and support policy dialogues related to transboundary natural resource management and environmental governance.

Working under supervision, you will contribute to capacity-building workshops, prepare briefing materials, and ensure delivery and impact

Qualifikationen

• Second-level university degree in Environmental Science, Economics, International Relations or Political Sciences.
• Five years (seven with a first-level degree) of professional experience, preferably international/multilateral.
• Fluency in English with excellent writing skills; knowledge of another OSCE language is a plus.
• Gender and diversity awareness and ability to integrate a gender and diversity perspective.
• Diplomatic service experience and familiarity with OSCE regions is an asset.
• Computer literacy with practical experience in Microsoft applications.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement and co-ordinate environmental projects in line with OSCE standards.
• Identify needs and priorities and align outputs with policies.
• Organize meetings, technical events, trainings and conferences with partner coordination.
• Establish and maintain external partnerships with international/regional organizations.
• Represent OCEEA at relevant meetings and events and inform participating States.
• Prepare inputs, speeches, statements, and briefing materials.
• Collect and analyze environmental and social data and prepare reports.
• Promote synergies with other OSCE programs and coordinate with secretariat departments.
