Job summary

enspired is seeking an Asset Optimization Community Lead (m/f/x) in Austria to lead the Asset Optimization Community within the Trading Technology function. You will guide teams that develop automated trading algorithms optimizing grid-scale batteries and other renewable assets, balancing customer needs, commercial opportunities, and product priorities.

In this leadership role, you will coach Team Leads, strengthen technical capabilities, and ensure capacity and commitments stay realistic.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading specialist technical teams.
• Strong planning and prioritization skills.
• Solid understanding of optimization, mathematical algorithms or quantitative software.
• Experience delivering and operating reliable software in a business-critical environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the community: line manage Team Leads and foster ownership and collaboration.
• Set priorities and enable delivery across product development, markets, pilots and live operations.
• Champion engineering excellence with focus on quality, reliability and safe operation.
• Provide technical direction and help teams make credible technical decisions.
• Connect technology and business to align capabilities with customer needs and opportunities.
• Encourage AI-assisted and agentic development tools to improve productivity and innovation.
