ADB SAFEGATE is seeking a Software Engineer m/f/d to support System Engineering for Air Traffic Control solutions at international airports. The role involves translating customer requirements into designs, configuring backend and frontend components, and developing automated tests in Graz, Austria.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, travel to international airports (~25%), and contribute to projects aimed at improving aviation operations.

Qualifikationen

• Finished technical college (HTL) or studies in Computer Science (TU/FH) or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of software, systems and networks.
• Experience with Air Traffic Control procedures is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Translate technical and operational customer requirements into system designs using templates and standards.
• Configure backend components, including workflows, customer data, flight separation rules, data distribution.
• Configure frontend components, including electronic flight strips and HMI elements.
• Design and implement automated tests using Python.
• Test and verify system configurations in Graz with simulated data.
• Occasionally participate in on-site acceptance tests at customer locations.
• Plan, manage, and deliver assigned work packages independently.
• Analyze reported issues and implement fixes.
• Act as a technical link between customer data engineers and internal teams.
