Zusammenfassung

Eaton is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Austria to design and industrialize future-ready manufacturing processes for LVSA products. You will lead the industrialization of new products and new factories, driving Manufacturing Readiness Level progression and identifying automation opportunities across assembly and material handling.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/industrialization roles, preferably in low voltage/electrical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly systems, and automation.
• Experience with CapEx planning, equipment specification, and layout design.
• Understanding of DFM/DFA principles.
• Familiarity with EPLAN Electric P8, ERP, and MES tools.
• Fluency in English and German.

In 2025, we generated almost $28 billion in sales and we served customers in more than 160 countries.What you’ll do: As the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and industrializing future-ready manufacturing processes, technologies, and factory concepts for Low Voltage System Assembly (LVSA) products, enabling scalable, efficient, and automated production aligned with business growth and new product introduction. • Define and implement manufacturing concepts for LVSA - assembly strategy (station-based / line / modular), material flow and logistics concepts, production layout and footprint • Lead industrialization of new products (e.g. data center solutions) and new factories / production halls • Drive Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) progression • Identify and implement automation opportunities: post-order engineering, assembly automation, copper processing, material handling, testing • Support implementation of Eplan, Digital work instructions, MES system and Data-driven manufacturing • Build CapEx business cases (ROI, productivity impact) • Work closely with: Engineering (EE/ME) Design for Manufacturing (DFM/DFA), Process Engineering process implementation, Production validation and ramp-up, Supply Chain material flow and constraints • Identify long-term productivity improvementsQualifications:Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrialization role, preferably in low voltage systems, electrical equipment, or related industriesSkills:Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies, assembly systems and line design, automation conceptsExperience with CapEx planning and equipment specification, layout design and material flow optimizationUnderstanding of DFM / DFA principlesFamiliarity with engineering and manufacturing tools (e.g. EPLAN Electric P8, ERP, MES)Fluency in English and GermanWhat we offer:Flexible working solutionsExcellent working environment – safety and ethics are important for usCulture & Values – we are more than the products we invent and produce – the way we do business is just as important.
