Job summary

CLC Consulting is seeking a Finance & Accounting Specialist to join our Vienna-based team. This hands-on role offers broad exposure to the finance function, including general ledger, month-end close and financial reporting, with independent ownership from day one.

You will work alongside a small, highly skilled team in a fast-paced financial services environment, collaborating across entities and with external partners. Strong English skills are essential, German is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end closing.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, AP and invoicing.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Experience supporting audits is a plus.
• Experience in banking, fintech, financial services, insurance or an audit environment is a strong advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills (German is a plus, but not required).

• Handle invoicing, accounts payable and payment processes.
• Perform bank, credit card and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Support the monthly closing process and financial reporting.
