Hire Hangar is seeking a Junior Video Editor to craft YouTube and podcast content for a global audience. You’ll bring YouTube-style storytelling, pacing, and audience retention, using AI-powered tools to speed editing.

Responsibilities include editing long‑form videos and podcasts, creating Shorts/TikToks, applying captions and basic motion graphics, and collaborating with producers to implement feedback while maintaining brand and publishing standards.

Formación

• 2+ years editing YouTube videos and/or video podcasts.
• Experience using AI tools in editing workflows.
• Proficient in at least one professional editor (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of YouTube and podcast content styles, pacing and engagement.
• Remote work experience with US/UK teams; proficient in Slack/Zoom/Google Workspace/Asana.
• Ability to take feedback and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Responsabilidades

• Edit long-form YouTube videos and video podcasts, including multi-camera edits.
• Create short-form clips (Shorts, Reels, TikToks) from podcast/YouTube content.
• Apply clean cuts, pacing, captions, and basic motion graphics.
• Use AI tools to assist with editing workflows, captioning, clipping, noise reduction, and optimization.
• Collaborate with producers and creators to implement feedback efficiently.
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and publishing requirements.
• Organize project files/assets to support remote workflow.
