Outsourcing Staffing Advantage is seeking a compassionate Virtual Medical Assistant to join our Telehealth team. The role requires strong medical knowledge, US terminology, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. No medical license is required, but healthcare professionals are preferred.

The VA will review medical histories, document details, and prep patients for telehealth with physicians overseas. Expect accuracy, discretion, and diligent documentation in a remote setting with EST hours,

Formación

• RN/LPN or healthcare professional with strong medical knowledge.
• Solid knowledge of US medical terminology, diagnoses, anatomy, and common medications.
• Experience reviewing and documenting patient histories preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple patient intakes.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the first contact for patients during telehealth intake.
• Document patient demographics, medical history, diagnoses, allergies, and medications.
• Review information for completeness before consultations.
• Demonstrate understanding of medical terminology, diagnoses, and common medications.
• Enter patient information into the EMR/EHR with high accuracy.
• Prepare and organize patient records for physician review.
• Coordinate transition of patients to the physician for virtual visits.
• Maintain confidential medical documentation per privacy standards.
• Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare providers.
• Stay updated with US healthcare terminology and documentation standards.
