AgileEngine is a leading software engineering partner delivering cutting-edge web and mobile applications for Fortune 500 brands and startups. We are seeking a Tech Lead to guide a squad building backend services in Java and Spring Boot, with an Angular frontend, balancing hands-on architecture with team mentorship.

The role involves driving design decisions, modernizing architectures with domain-driven design, and delivering robust RESTful services while maintaining high engineering standards

Formación

• Proven experience as Tech Lead or Squad Lead and mentoring junior developers.
• Advanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular with at least 4 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Strong OOAD, design patterns, and architectural pattern awareness.
• Deep understanding of domain-driven design and bounded contexts.
• Extensive experience building and consuming RESTful services.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and JPA/Hibernate.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the Squad Lead, driving the team to deliver high-quality software.
• Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain the Angular frontend to connect with backend APIs.
• Lead the shift toward domain-driven design and bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP semantics and scalable patterns.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best engineering practices.
• Push back on impractical ideas to maintain architectural integrity.
