AgileEngine is seeking a Tech Lead to guide a squad building backend services in Java and Spring Boot, with an Angular frontend. This person balances hands-on architecture work, including domain-driven design and RESTful API patterns, with day-to-day mentorship of the team.

The role calls for someone comfortable making technical calls and standing behind them. We look for a proven Tech Lead or Squad Lead, with 4+ years in Java Spring Boot and Angular, plus Kafka and RESTful experience.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Squad Lead with mentoring track record.
• Advanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular, with 4+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and RESTful services.
• Strong understanding of OOAD, design patterns, and domain-driven contexts.
• Experience building and consuming relational DBs (PostgreSQL/Oracle) with JPA/Hibernate.
• Focus on server-side logic, performance, and architectural integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the Squad Lead, driving the team to deliver with high engineering standards.
• Design and implement robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain the Angular frontend, ensuring a seamless UI-backend connection.
• Lead the shift toward domain-driven design with strong bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP verbs and scalable patterns.
• Mentor junior developers and foster growth within an agile team.
• Push back when needed to uphold best practices and architecture.
