Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection seeks a LATAM Product Chemistry Lead based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Bogotá, Colombia, or CDMX, Mexico. You will provide regulatory chemistry support for Crop Protection products and connect LATAM with Global Product Chemistry, Production & Supply, and project teams.

Lead regulatory chemistry strategies, prepare dossiers, and ensure documentation meets high standards. Fluent English and local language, plus LATAM experience, are required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or an equivalent scientific discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in product registration, regulatory chemistry, product development, or production/formulation in a manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge of Crop Protection Regulatory requirements and LATAM processes.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data to support technical positions.
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
• Fluent English and proficiency in the local language; collaborate with regional/global teams.
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant scientific field.
• Experience with LATAM registration processes and product chemistry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the regulatory chemistry aspect of a LATAM product portfolio, aligning with Global teams.
• Collaborate with Global Product Chemistry Managers and LATAM/regulatory teams to define strategies.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot regulatory chemistry challenges in LATAM.
• Prepare and submit technical documentation for LATAM registrations.
• Advocate for the company's positions with strong supporting evidence.
