Advanced Energy is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing strategies for indirect spend across locations, ensuring continuity and efficiency while meeting cost objectives. The role oversees supplier quality, delivery, and performance, and selects and manages suppliers under the Director, Purchasing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field with 10+ years in supply chain or purchasing, preferably in electronics/high-tech manufacturing, and proven

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or purchasing.
• Experience in electronics or high-tech manufacturing preferred.
• Proven supplier relationship management and contract management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Establishes procurement division with Asia Pacific multiple sites for indirect spends.
• Proactively manage projects and perform purchasing tenders and supplier selection.
• Responsible for cost reduction and supplier performance.
• Provides management support for business and strategic procurement activities.
• Develops cost effective sources of supply that support AE’s growth strategies.
• Evaluates price trends and manufacturing processes that improve overall commodity team performance.
• Develops and administers supplier contracts for managing costs and continuity of supply.
• Provides coaching, mentoring, employee development and team building.
• Take action to ensure continuous improvement of the Purchasing team’s productivity and effectiveness through adequate training of personnel.
• Develops policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
