Job summary

vidIQ is seeking a frontend-leaning engineer who will own product surfaces end to end, from UI to APIs and data flows, shaping how millions of creators experience our platform. You’ll work across the stack and ship AI-powered features with a focus on performance and reliability.

This remote role invites global collaboration and ownership, with a culture of experimentation, mentorship, and shipping quality code that users rely on every day.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong frontend focus with the ability to design APIs, write server-side code, and debug across client-server boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Own product surfaces end to end.
• Work across the stack to build backend APIs, services, and data flows.
• Drive your own roadmap by turning feedback into proposals and working with product/design.
• Build AI-powered product experiences across the stack, including model integration and UX considerations.
• Fix architecture and performance problems anywhere in the request path.
• Make AI part of how the team works by using AI tools responsibly and sharing learnings.
• Improve durability by testing workflows, monitoring, and owning shipped code.
• Raise the bar through code reviews and mentorship of peers.
