Job summary

Talan is seeking a skilled Java developer to optimize batch processes and integrate quant libraries. You will work with Quants, Data, and the IMM team to ensure performance and quality across data pipelines.

The role emphasizes building reliable tests, securing the CI/CD pipeline, and collaborating on international projects in a 100% remote setup. English proficiency is required for global teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong Java with emphasis on performance and multi-threading.
• Experience in numerical computing and parallel processing.
• Build and test tools: JUnit, Git, CI/CD.
• Data processing with Spark and Parquet.
• English proficiency B2/C1.

Responsibilities

• Improve performance so the daily batch runs on time.
• Integrate the quant libraries.
• Keep quality high — write tests, fix security findings, keep the CI pipeline green.
• Work closely with Quants, Data, and the IMM team
