JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a VP Infrastructure Engineer (Site Reliability Engineering) to mature an automated, resilient platform across VMware Cloud Foundation environments.

You will lead reliability for critical production systems, mentor teams, and drive AI-assisted incident remediation with strong controls and security considerations. In this role, you will optimize existing systems, automate toil, and champion operability by design.

Formación

• 7+ years in network engineering, software or systems engineering with progressive scope.
• VMware ESXi system engineer experience in an enterprise environment, incl. vSAN.
• Troubleshoot components and implement service-level changes in VMware vCF.
• Operate in large-scale, dynamic, high-availability production environments.
• Coding/scripting in Python, JavaScript or PowerShell.
• Strong computing fundamentals: systems, networking, troubleshooting, reliability mindset.
• Strong data center networking knowledge (BGP, VRF, MPLS, IP, TCP, UDP).
• Demonstrated agile leadership and clear communication with diverse audiences.
• Ability to review AI-assisted incident recommendations with judgement.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities for operations with data sensitivity awareness.
• Advanced English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead reliability outcomes for critical production apps and infra in large-scale environments.
• Drive service-level changes in VMware vCF with safe change practices and controls.
• Troubleshoot multi-layer issues; coordinate incident response and restoration.
• Build automation to reduce toil and standardize operations, enabling self-service.
• Analyze incidents and usage patterns to identify trends and risks; drive remediation.
• Promote self-healing, resiliency and operability by design through runbooks and monitoring.
• Lead performance testing; identify bottlenecks and inform roadmaps and investments.
• Provide technical leadership across teams; translate reliability goals into actionable work.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and SRE practices.
• Adopt AI-assisted routines for incident/problem/change with validation and security alignment.
